Pantai Balangan Beach is one of the most iconic beaches in Uluwatu to watch sunset, either from the beach or atop the cliff. A long stretch of turquoise blue water and golden sand is flanked on either side by towering cliffs, providing the ultimate spot for a bird’s-eye view. If this beach is on your list of places to visit in Uluwatu – and it should be – read on for all the information you should know before you go. The first time we just went for sunset at Tebing Pantai Balangan (Balangan Cliff) which was a lot of fun. Located on Balangan, just outside Jimbaran, this is a special venue with stunning and breath-taking view to Indian Ocean, perfect for small ceremony up to 20 guests. You may have Legal Wedding, Commitment Ceremony or Renewal of Vows Blessing on the top of cliff. Similar with all beaches in Bali, this venue is also a public place so there may be some people watching your ceremony outside the cliff. Please be aware that there is no toilet close-by, preparation room or restaurants on the cliff so you will need to get ready at your hotel and bring some drinks yourself or the wedding planner can arrange it.
